Our Services
The Seagoville Economic Development Corporation provides focused, practical support to businesses at every stage, from startups and small businesses to established employers and new investment projects. The SEDC’s role is to help businesses move forward by offering guidance, coordination, and access to available tools and resources.
Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, services are tailored to the needs and goals of each project.
The SEDC assists businesses considering Seagoville as a location for new or expanded operations. Support may include site information, coordination with City departments, and introductions to utility providers and regional partners.
For existing businesses, the SEDC works to support expansion, reinvestment, and long-term retention.
Entrepreneurs and small business owners can rely on the SEDC as a starting point for navigating the local process. While the SEDC does not replace regulatory agencies or professional advisors, it helps connect businesses to trusted resources for planning, training, and technical assistance.
The SEDC administers local economic development programs approved by the Board of Directors, including reimbursement-based grant programs designed to support eligible business improvements and reinvestment.
All programs follow adopted policies and require formal application and approval prior to any work beginning.
For development and reinvestment projects, the SEDC helps coordinate communication between businesses, City departments, and external partners. This coordination helps clarify expectations, timelines, and requirements early in the process.
