Seagoville Nexus: Connecting City Hall, Residents, and the Future of Seagoville

January 8, 2026

As we bring in the new year, the City has decided it is time for a fresh redesign of our previously named “Weekly Report.” We felt the Weekly Report needed to be centered around YOU—our citizens—and focused on connecting the City, residents, and the future of Seagoville.

We are proud to introduce the new name of the newsletter: Seagoville Nexus.

So, what is a nexus?

A nexus is a central point of connection—a hub where different ideas, people, or systems come together. It represents a link that brings everything into one place.

That is exactly why we chose the new name, “Seagoville Nexus.” Our goal is for this newsletter to serve as a central connection between our citizens and the City of Seagoville.

Don’t worry—your favorite updates from City departments aren’t going anywhere! They’ll now appear under our newly titled Community News section.

We’re also excited to introduce a brand-new feature: City Services Spotlight. This section is designed to help residents better understand and navigate important City services. You’ll find simple, helpful guidance on topics such as:

  • How to apply for a permit
  • How to pay your water bill
  • How to access various City services
  • And much more

We look forward to bringing you a connected, informative, and helpful newsletter experience through the Seagoville Nexus.
